Start in the ERASMUS+-project!
1st international conference in Fritzlar/Germany
In March 2016, 25 students and teachers from Turkey, Spain, Sweden and Poland travelled to the medieval town Fritzlar in Germany to attend the first meeting of the project „YOUNG TOURISM: be sustainable. be entrepreneurial. be creative.“
The goal of this meeting was to create a brochure which attracts young tourists to the area of Fritzlar. Therefore, the ERASMUS – team visited several places of interest. The program included geocaching in the biggest European mountain park in Kassel, a “Who`s the murderer?“ hiking tour in Bad Emstal and an exciting rally through the medieval town of Fritzlar. Furthermore, we experienced the UNESCO National Park Kellerwald/Lake Eder with the support of the Wilderness school. Of course, we also got help from a marketing company called “:grede.de Werbeagentur” which showed us how the perfect brochure is structured, how to choose photos and to write interesting texts. In just one hour with the marketing expert, we learned some of the do´s and don´ts of advertisement. Everybody discovered a lot about sustainable touri
sm and travelling behaviour in the other countries as well as advertisement. It was a really sucessful first meeting in a row of five! The capstone of the German conference was the farewell party with the topic „Travel the world“: The whole team dressed up in colourful costumes! Even though everybody had fun at the party, the students also shed some tears when they had to say goodbye to their new friends from abroad.
